Most teams are expected to create content they were never trained to make. Amanda offers workshops, speaking, and fractional creative direction built around the level of know-how they're starting from.

Not every person who needs to learn video works on a corporate team. I work with entrepreneurs, small business owners, and anyone who wants to understand how to create better content without the jargon, the overwhelm, or the assumption that you already know what you're doing.

Sessions are hands-on and built around where you're starting from. You leave with tools, templates, and frameworks you can use immediately — not a recording you'll never watch again.

Available as a private booking for your group or as a scheduled public workshop.

Corporate Video Workshops

If your team makes video content — or should be — this is where to start.

These corporate video training sessions are hands-on and interactive. Your team works through real scenarios, not slides. Every session includes tools, templates, and reference guides your team can put to work before the week is out — not a recording that collects dust in a shared drive.

Topics available as standalone sessions or combined into a half- or full-day workshop format:

  • Video fundamentals (lighting, sound, framing, stabilization)

  • Editing basics for video and photo

  • AI tools in content creation — and how to use them without losing your creative voice

  • Content ownership and strategy

  • Story — how to find it, shape it, and get it out of people who don't think they have one

  • Getting great content from non-professional talent — customers, employees, and anyone who's never been on camera

Teams leave with a clearer process, fewer bottlenecks, and the confidence to create content without waiting on outside help.

Available in-person (Austin-based, travel available) or remote via Zoom.

Video Content Speaking Engagements

Amanda speaks on video, brand, and AI — with a specific point of view on each.

On brand: the connection most people miss is that your content shapes what your audience assumes about your business before they've ever spoken to you.

On AI: it's a powerful tool, but it cannot generate creative work on its own — and understanding that distinction changes how you use it.

On video: the practical side, from production fundamentals to what actually makes content land.

Her sessions are direct, grounded in 20 years of experience across Fortune 500 brands and startups, and built for audiences who want something they can actually use.

Topics she speaks on:

  • Brand authority and perception — what your content signals before anyone says a word

  • AI in content creation — what it can do, what it can't, and why that distinction matters

  • Video fundamentals and production — creating professional content without a full production team

Available for conferences, corporate events, and industry programs.

Fractional Creative Director Services

As a fractional creative director, Amanda embeds as a strategic partner — helping you develop messaging, shape content strategy, direct video production, and build the systems your team needs to keep creating consistently. She has served as a full-time and fractional creative director across e-commerce, med tech, healthcare, and HR — and as an ongoing creative partner for executives and founders building personal brands.

Good for:

  • In-house marketing teams without a creative director

  • Founders who need a thought partner on brand positioning, messaging, and identity

  • Marketing leads who need senior-level support on a specific initiative or campaign

  • Executives and entrepreneurs building a personal brand with a clear point of view

Engagements are scoped to your needs — monthly retainer, project-based, or short-term sprints.

Team Video Production Training

A focused video production training built around your team's actual tools, goals, and gaps — not a generic course pulled off a shelf.

Before the session, Amanda assesses where your team is and what would actually make a difference. Sessions are interactive, not lecture-style. Every participant walks away with tools, templates, and frameworks they can reference and reuse — so the training compounds over time instead of fading after a week.

The result: less time waiting on external vendors, faster content turnaround, and a team that knows what it's doing.

Common training focuses:

  • Video creation from a phone or traditional camera setup

  • On-camera presence

  • Editing software basics

  • AI-assisted content production.

1:1 Video Coaching & Office Hours

Sometimes you just need a knowledgeable person to look at what you're doing and tell you what's working and what isn't.

1:1 video coaching sessions are useful for refining your setup, working through a content strategy, getting unstuck on a specific project, or preparing for an on-camera appearance.

Office hours are drop-in, lower-commitment, and good for focused questions.

No prep required. Come with a question or a problem.

Video Production Services

Amanda and her team handle video production from concept through final edit. She specializes in non-fiction, interview-based, and documentary-style content — the kind where real people tell real stories and it actually lands.

This is not a fit for everyone. If you want flashy, trend-driven content with a quick turnaround, there are a lot of options out there.

If you want something strategic, well-crafted, and built to represent your brand well — let's talk.

frequently asked
QUESTIONS

FAQ film strip.webp

Q: What does a corporate video training workshop include?

A: Sessions typically cover phone video fundamentals (lighting, sound, framing), editing basics, on-camera presence, AI tools in content creation, and content ownership strategy. Workshops are customized based on your team's current skill level and goals — half-day and full-day formats available.

Q: Do you offer video training for teams with no production experience?

A: Yes. Most of the teams Amanda works with are starting from scratch or close to it. Sessions are built to meet your team where they are, not where they should be.

Q: Are workshops available outside of Austin?

A: Yes. Amanda is Austin-based and travels for the right engagements. All workshops are also available remotely via Zoom.

Q: How long is a typical team video workshop?

A: Half-day (3–4 hours) and full-day (6–7 hours) formats are most common. Single-topic sessions can run 90 minutes to two hours.

Q: What's the difference between a team workshop and fractional creative direction?

A: A workshop is a training event — your team learns a specific skill set in a single session. Fractional creative direction is ongoing — Amanda works inside your business as a creative partner over weeks or months, handling strategy, messaging, and production direction.

Q: Do you work with individuals or only teams?

A: Both. 1:1 coaching and office hours are designed for individuals. Most other offerings are built for teams, but solo founders and entrepreneurs use them too.

Amanda Glaeser is a creative director and video strategist with 20 years of experience building story-driven content for global brands including LEGO, Sundance, Subaru, National Instruments, and Bragg.

A University of Texas at Austin RTF graduate with a business minor, she brings a documentary mindset to industries ranging from med tech and SaaS to CPG and nonprofit.

She has led productions across five continents, navigating cross-cultural teams, compressed timelines, and high-pressure environments. She was an official speaker and mentor at SXSW 2026.

Her specialty is translating complex ideas into clear, authoritative stories — and getting compelling, natural content out of founders, executives, and subject-matter experts who insist they are bad on video. She mentors creative and marketing teams on connecting their work directly to revenue, helping them justify budgets and increase their strategic influence with managers, clients, and stakeholders.

She is also especially proud of the "Make Something Out of Nothing" award, presented by the Fortune 500 corporate marketing team she worked with in-house — a recognition of measurable impact under tight timelines and limited resources.
